Silicone bakeware is made of FDA-approved food grade silicone and is well suited for a wide range of temperatures from -40 to 500 degrees. It is flexible and soft and wo not occupy much storage space as well. Care should be taken to use only water for washing and this kitchen ware cannot be put in a dishwasher.
Teflon Bakeware is still a popular choice for its nonstick properties. The slick coating makes easy work of clean up, and leaves the food intact.
